Service Description
For young puppies 12 weeks to 8 months, we use positive methods, focusing on building the bond between the dog and the handler to provide a foundation of learning and positive experiences, setting the dog and handler up for long-term success. t this critical stage of development, puppies are highly receptive to new information, making it an optimal time to begin their training journey. The primary aim of this course is to equip you with the necessary tools and techniques to train your puppy effectively. The curriculum for agility foundations includes toy drive, confidence on surfaces, manners, impulse management, focus, body awareness, communication skills, working around other dogs, and more. (No jumping.) Meet your instructor: Julie Currier. With over 18 years of experience in training and trialing agility and other dog sports, Julie is a seasoned expert in the field. She has earned more than 20 MACH/PACH Agility Titles, along with numerous other accolades, with her dogs. She has also been a finalist at the NAC and Premier Cup on multiple occasions. Julie is passionate about using positive reinforcement techniques to foster a strong bond between dog and handler. She believes that a solid foundation of learning and positive experiences is essential for setting dogs up for success in the sport. Julie's approach ensures that dogs not only excel but also truly enjoy the game we play with them.
